Good news Webelos I - You're going to the S. Shore Natural Science Center (SSNSC)!!

Cost PER session is $8 ($16 total for both sessions).  Directions and information about SSNSC to be distributed at this week's pack meeting.  Feel free to visit the SSNSC website at www.ssnsc.org for information about the center.

Scout Registration Tomorrow and Thursday!!

Pack 2 Cub Scout Registration for this year will be Wednesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 9th from 630-830 pm each night.  Cost to register as a scout is $65.  Sign-up will take place at the Weymouth Height Club, 598 North Street, Weymouth (http://www.weymouthheightsclub.org/index.html).

Car Wash Was a Success!!

Thanks to ALL the scouts and their families who participated in our car wash last week.  It was a great success.  We had a profit of $280!  Watch the slide show above - pictures will show up on the slide show to the left (or use the back arrows to get to the car wash pictures quicker).

Cub Scout Registration Night - Update

Cub Scout sign-up went quite well on the evening on June 16th.  Thank you to Scott Wallace, Taylor Schiller, Ben Murphy, John Murphy, JB Bruynell, Bud Bruynell, Kathy Dever and everyone who made our scout pack shine.  Our new scouts and returning scouts are sure to have a great experience!!  Those who were not able to make the sign-up to renew membership, we'll keep you posted about our fall registration date.  Have a wonderful summer and a patriotic 4th of July!!

Summer Events for Pack 2 - Weymouth 2010

June 16th  - Registration for next year -  6-8 PM Heights Club

(last chance to get the $55 early bird special. after this date it will be $65)

June 19th - Car wash (Fund Raiser)  - 8:30 AM - Noon - 99 Restaurant on Route 18, S. Weymouth - Please come and try to help out even if only for an hour or two!  All boys who help out receives a free ice cream cone.

Aug 6th - Brockton Rox Sleepover - time is running out to sign up. if interested call Catherine McCabe as soon as posible (781-331-2258)

Adult Training Required!!

Hot off the press... a new national policy has just been announced regarding Youth Protection Training. It's official: All registered adults MUST be Youth Protection trained. From now on, new leaders will need to take the training before they register, and print and submit a copy of the completion certificate along with their registration application. All adult leaders must take Youth Protection training every two years.  Check out the link below to the Great Ponds Training News for additional information.
